Hello!! My name is Philippe O’Rourke, and I’m an award-winning art director/designer based in Toronto. I best describe myself as a digital thinker and a storytelling enthusiast, fuelled by insightful strategy. After graduating from OCAD University, I worked at some of Canada’s top-ranked agencies and have been privileged enough to learn from the most innovative and inspiring creatives.
I have crafted effective campaigns for some of Canada’s largest brands including Dove, Hellmann’s, Post Consumer Brands, Scotts Miracle-Gro, Popeyes, Mercedes-Benz, and Second Harvest. My client roaster expands a wide variety of industries, which include food and beverage, automotive, healthcare, financial services, real estate, fashion, education, government, and not-for-profit.
My work has also been featured globally in Adweek, Forbes, CBC News, Global News, Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Vice, TrendHunter, AdAge, AdNews, Stimulant, MSN, Yahoo, Strategy and Applied Arts.
Outside of work, you can find me picking up the good ol’ paint brush, catching a comedy show, producing my next song, painting my drag alter-ego Shego to life, or simply rewatching Rupaul’s Drag Race for the hundredth time.
